My Story

​

     I bring a 20+ year proven track record of success in the broadcasting industry, driven by a forward-thinking approach that has consistently achieved company success and fostered competitive growth. I specialize in building successful teams, managing profitable operations, and am dedicated to being a change manager committed to continuous business improvement. My strengths also lie in being a skilled team builder and an initiative leader.

 

     My skill set covers a wide range of business management areas, including business development, budgeting, financial analysis, and project management. I excel in change management, employee evaluation, forecasting, leadership, and marketing. Additionally, I have expertise in financial modeling, process improvement, and sourcing.

 

     In my extensive work history, I served as Group Vice-President/General Manager at Waypoint Media, where I spearheaded the launch and growth of a startup FOX Broadcast Television affiliate. I was responsible for managing a combined $15 million annual budget for eight broadcast television stations and played a pivotal role in coordinating and executing the launch of multiple newscasts. I also managed the daily operational duties of 18 television streams, while driving company growth through collaboration of the sales and marketing teams. Prior to this role, as a Regional Sales Manager at Gray Television, I implemented effective inventory management measures, resulting in over a 40% increase in regional sales. I managed a substantial annual sales division budget and established strong relationships with key clients.

 

     Beyond my professional career, I take pride in actively contributing to my community. I've served as an Executive Board Member of the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters, supporting the broadcast industry's growth and development. Additionally, I've served as a Local Advisory Board Member for the Salvation Army, offering valuable expertise and guidance to the organization. I'm also an active member of Rotary, an international service organization dedicated to humanitarian service and promoting high ethical standards.
